I’ll let you in on a little secret… you have to promise not to tell anyone, ok? Ok. So here goes… Despite the overwhelming belief that exists in our culture, there are men that want to be fathers. I’m not talking about the guys that when Maury asks if the DNA results prove that he is the father will he be a part of the childs life kind of guy. While “Imma step up and take care of my responsibility” is part of being a father, it does not completely incapsulate the job. For the most part, we celebrate mothers. It is a hard job. On the other hand, fathers are painted as complete morons that don’t know whether to wind their butt or scratch their watch. For an example of this see Mr. Mom and every laundry, cooking, cleaning commercial that comes on tv during your evening television viewing rouutine.
